Karnaval Solidaire
The Karnaval Solidaire is an event during the week of solidarity on the campus.
This school year, it's 33rd edition will take place from April 1st to April 5th 2025 on the campus of La Doua.
📌 What is it? A festival organized by a student association whose goal is to collect money in order to finance a project linked to the ecological and social transition. The festival consists of a whole week of workshops and talks during the day and concerts, open stages and theater in the evening.
📌 Last year's project: Sometimes, the wells were all dry out, and the inhabitants of the village of Kiedpalgo had to walk more than 20 km to get drinkable water. The goal of the project “Eau pour Tous” is then to give access to drinkable water to the inhabitants of this village in Burkina Faso.
📌 This year's project: After having worked with "Eau pour Tous" since 2008, the Karnaval decided to support a local project where the organisers of the festival could devote time to help out the project. This year, the Karnaval decided to cooperate with the project C.L.A.S.S.E.S. This project helps socially and economically vulnerable families in the education of their children.

The Karnaval also organises two other events throughout the year, one in June during the Music Festival : "Fête de la Musique". Another happens in the middle of October and consists of a music show at the ToïToï Le Zinc, a bar near the campus. It is called the ToïTeuf.
